Brand new café opens at SW Calgary Westbrook station

The Dobré Café is the latest stop that’s opened for Calgary Transit riders at the southwest Westbrook station on Monday.
The shop is just at the southeast corner of the Westbrook CTrain station building.
The City of Calgary says Dobré Café came from an Expression of Interest (EOI) opportunity for the station back in 2024, which had a vacant retail space.
Officials say Dobré Café was selected to “revive the space with an inviting spot for visitors to pick up a snack and drink on-the-go, or to sit and enjoy.”
Owner Marius Dobré is working with a local roaster and created custom espresso and coffee blends for those in the area.
The café serves espresso drinks, coffee, tea, and smoothies, along with an assortment of pastries and sandwiches.
The Westbrook CTrain Station is underground on 33 Street SW between Bow Trail and 17 Avenue.
