Man wanted by police in NE Calgary tire slashing spree

Calgary police are looking for a suspect after several vehicles had their tires slashed/punctured in the community of Martindale last month.

Calgary police are looking for a man they say went on a tire-slashing spree in the city’s northeast last month.

Investigators say on Saturday, Feb.7 between midnight and 1 a.m., a man intentionally damaged approximately 10 vehicles on Martindale Drive NE near Martindale Boulevard NE by puncturing their tires with an unknown object.

The suspect is around 5’10” tall with a medium build and a beard. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a flannel shirt, black pants, a black hat, and white sneakers.
