More snow on the way for Calgary

Some more snow is on the way for Calgary, and most of it is expected to hit early Thursday morning.
Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) meteorologist Terri Lang predicts it’ll be here in time to make a mess of the morning rush.
“It’ll come down quite heavily. I think most people will just wake up in the morning and go ‘What happened?'” she said.
While it’ll hit fast and furious while most Calgarians are sleeping, it won’t be a blizzard for anyone out on the roads.
“There will be some wind associated with that, but not a whole bunch that it’ll cause blowing snow issues or anything like that — just something for people to be aware of, especially in that morning commute time,” Lang explained.
She’s expecting five to eight centimetres to hit the ground before mid-morning, and maybe a centimetre or two more in some spots around the city.
The system is also bringing cooler temperatures with it, which should end by Sunday. Highs on the plus-side are expected to return next week.
