Calgary crews put out small construction site fire on SE Deerfoot Trail

Deerfoot Trail SE near Anderson Road was the scene of a construction site fire early Monday morning.
Crews were called to the scene around 3 a.m.
Acting Battalion Chief Adam Boss tells 660 NewsRadio the fire was propane fed.
No injuries were reported and firefighters were able to squash the blaze rather quickly.
Traffic on Deerfoot in both directions was closed for a short time between Southland Drive and Douglasdale Boulevard SE.
No information has been made available about the cause of the fire.
An investigation is underway.
