Calgary police looking for man who committed indecent act near NE playground

Calgary police have a released a sketch of an elderly man they say committed an indecent act near a playground in the city’s northeast back in December.
Investigators say it happened on Dec. 12, 2025 shortly before 1 p.m.
An intoxicated man was seen in the community of Whitehorn near a playground, possibly recording children with a smartphone.
The man was later seen engaging in inappropriate behaviour in a public area and left after being approached by members of the public.
Police searched the area for witnesses and camera footage but haven’t been able to find an image of the suspect to identify him.
The suspect is described as 70 to 80 years old, around 5’6″ tall with a medium build, and a medium complexion.
He also had a white-tipped beard with black roots and distinctive brown and red patches.
At the time of the incident, he was wearing black headphones, navy-blue work pants, black shoes, a black toque, a blue puffer jacket, and using and white and gold coloured smartphone.
