Calgary police believe the same suspect is responsible for a series of sexual assaults in Fish Creek Park.

Officers say a woman was attacked around 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, while jogging near Sue Higgins Bridge and Mallard Point.

Police allege a man on a black BMX bike allegedly came up behind her and sexually assaulted her.

Investigators now believe this case is linked to at least two earlier assaults in Fish Creek Park.

The first happened around 5:30 p.m. on April 20, when a woman jogging near Mallard Point was reportedly watched by a man near the park bathrooms before he approached her on an e‑scooter and assaulted her. Police say the same suspect is believed to have assaulted another woman in the park about 20 minutes before that incident.

“Very, very concerning,” said Police Chief Katie McLellan. “We’ve got people on it full time, it is a priority, and it is a big concern.”

The suspect is described as a man in his late teens to early 20s, about six feet tall, with light skin and short, shaggy blond hair. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie with a colourful graphic on the side and blue jeans.

Police are urging anyone who has experienced sexual assault to come forward, regardless of when it occurred. Anyone with information is asked to call 403‑266‑1234 or contact Crime Stoppers anonymously.
