Officers are looking for information on a late-night shooting that happened in the Calgary Marlborough area on Thursday.
They say occupants of a white 2010 Mazda 3 and a black Nissan Murano got involved in an “interaction” at around 9:30 p.m. near the 200 block of Maitland Crescent NE, leading to someone in the Nissan pointing their firearm at the Mazda.
Police say when the Mazda took off, the Nissan followed — firing and striking it three times while around the 5600 block of Madigan Drive NE.
After the Nissan took off, turning northbound onto Manora Drive, the Mazda kept driving until they found a police officer to report the incident.
Investigators reported no injuries, but CityNews reporters found a home struck by stray bullets on Madigan Drive.
Meanwhile, police are looking for information to identify the suspect vehicle and those inside.
They seek dashcam or CCTV footage from the Marlborough areas of Manora and Maitland, from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. on June 18, showing a white, four-door 2010 Mazda 3, and a black, 2015-2024 Nissan Murano.
Anyone with information can call Calgary police at 403-266-1234 or do so anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
