Driver in hospital after crashing into parked vehicles in SE Calgary: police

Several parked cars were damaged when a car crashed into them early Wednesday morning. Calgary police say one person was taken to hospital in critical condition. Rayn Rashid reports.

A driver is in critical condition after crashing their vehicle into three parked vehicles in southeast Calgary Wednesday, police say.

It happened just after 3:30 a.m. at the 2500 block of 26 Street SE in the Southview area.

Officers say the driver was rushed to hospital in critical condition.

No other injuries have been reported.

Meanwhile, roads are closed in both directions on 26 Street between 24 Avenue and 28 Avenue while police investigate.
