Canmore woman dead in single-vehicle crash: Banff RCMP
Police say at around 5:30am Sunday morning, the woman was declared dead on scene approximately 2 kilometres west of the Banff park gates.

A 24-year-old Canmore woman has died following a single-vehicle crash on Highway 1 Sunday, Banff RCMP said.
Mounties say they responded to reports of a single-vehicle crash on the highway, around two kilometres west of the Banff Park gates, at 5:33 a.m.
They say the victim, a passenger inside the vehicle, was declared dead on the scene. No other vehicles or injuries were reported.
While traffic in the area was down to one lane, it has since cleared.
RCMP say an investigation is underway. The condition of the driver is unclear.
