Various parts of north Edmonton were flooded Wednesday after a major storm dropped significant rain on the city.
Yellowhead Trail in both directions was affected between 121 and 156 streets, according to the City of Edmonton.
Edmonton police issued a warning about flooded underpasses on Yellowhead Trail from 97 Street to 184 Street.
Police and Edmonton Fire were diverting traffic from the area, and drivers were asked to seek alternate routes.

“Crews are onsite and working to restore the roads,” the city wrote in a Facebook post.
127 Street was also closed between 126 and 127 avenues due to localized flooding.
