Rotini with Honey Ginger Mix Greens, Penne with Black Bean and Corn Salsa, and Rainbow Pepper Spaghetti.
These are just a few mouth-watering recipes concocted by registered dietitian Liz Pearson, and it’s all a part of healthy eating.
Pearson was in Calgary on Wednesday to pass on tips to living with a healthier diet.
She tells 660News, “it can be an overwhelming change. Try to do one thing at a time. For example, a small handful of nuts every day can make a big difference in your overall nutritional profile.”
Pearson adds research shows that simply incorporating whole grains into your diet can reduce abdominal fat and serious health issues, such as heart disease and type two diabetes.
