Death on Sunchild First Nation ruled a homicide

An autopsy has revealed the death of a teenage girl on the Sunchild First Nation reserve over the weekend is a homicide.

RCMP major crimes and forensic units are assisting in the investigation.

The reserve is located near Rocky Mountain House, about 100 kilometres west of Red Deer.

The girl’s identity has not been released.
