New Superman movie won’t be filmed in Wild Rose Country

The “Man of Steel” isn’t coming to Alberta.
The province was in the running to be a shooting location for the next Superman movie.
Alberta lost out because of a lack of certain military hardware.
The production needed aircraft carriers and attack helicopters, which Alberta does not have.
The movie will be shot in Chicago and Vancouver instead.
