Child falls out of second story window

A scary incident for a northwest family Wednesday evening after paramedics were called to a home in the community of Sherwood for reports of a toddler falling out of a seconds story window.

Adam Loria with EMS tells 660News the child fell five to ten feet on to a wooden deck below.

“Upon our quick arrival we were presented with a small child, I don’t have an exact age, somewhere between four and six is what I was told, that indeed fell out of a residential window,” says Loria.

The youngster was taken to hospital in stable non life threatening condition.

EMS is reminding people to be aware of where their kids are playing and says there are many safety products that can be put on windows to prevent things like this from happening to other kids.
