Wi-Fi taking off on flights

Wi-Fi is getting more popular on airplanes even with flyers complaining about the price.
A survey by In-Stat shows the number of passengers on American-based airlines using Wi-Fi has doubled in the past year from four-per cent to eight-per cent.
The Globe and Mail reports about 170 planes in the U.S. are equipped with the service which allows people to surf the web from their cell phone, laptop or tablet computer.
However, passengers say they would like to see the average price be $2-$5 per flight, as opposed the typical rate which is currently $10 and up.
