Roadwork will continue tying up drivers along Deerfoot

Drivers frustrated with speed reductions along Deerfoot Trail will be steaming for a little while longer.

The wintry weather has stopped work on a couple of projects, including resurfacing the deck on the Ogden road flyover and construction of medians between Anderson Road and 17th Avenue southeast; but that doesn’t mean we’ll be able to fly along at 100 kilometers per hour.

A spokesperson for Alberta Transportation tells the Calgary Sun they are still active construction zones and even if there are no workers at the sight, there are still hazards in the area.
