Charges have been laid in a string of break-ins in Calgary and Airdrie, dating back to early this year.
As part of a joint investigation between Airdrie RCMP and Calgary Police, similarities were discovered in break-ins in both cities, including the tools used, cash boxes targeted and a specific vehicle spotted at different crime scenes.
Michael William Kimber, 35, is facing a total of 11 charges including six counts of breaking and entering with intent. The charges stem from incidents at 11 different businesses.
Kimber is scheduled to appear in court on July 6, 2017.
