Baby red panda makes Halloween debut at zoo

Monday is a special day at the Calgary Zoo.

It will be the first appearance by a female red panda cub called ‘Nisha’, who was born on June 13.

The animal residents are also getting some treats Monday in celebration of Halloween.

The lemurs, red pandas, and hippos will enjoy pumpkins and watermelons.

The Halloween enrichment items will be given to the lemurs at noon, the red pandas at 1:00 p.m., and the hippos at 1:30 p.m.
