Calgary woman dies while hiking in Canmore

A 30-year-old woman from Calgary has died after falling while on a hike near Canmore.
RCMP and Kananaskis Emergency Services were called around 4:30 p.m. Saturday to the East End Of Rundle.
The woman was going down a short scramble section when she slipped and fell.
Her two friends, along with other hikers in the area, tried to rescue the woman but she was pronounced dead on scene.
Her identity is not being released.
