Man dies after being pinned by delivery truck in SW Calgary

CALGARY (660 NEWS) — A 48-year-old man is dead after he was found crushed beneath a Canpar delivery truck in Calgary’s southwest. Just after 1 p.m. Emergency responders attended a scene at 49 Ave. and Elbow Dr. to find a man pinned underneath.

It’s unclear how he became stuck underneath the truck. Calgary police are investigating the incident to see if criminal negligence charges will be laid. Once they wrap up their investigation Occupational Health and Safety will take over.
