CALGARY (660 NEWS) – The Calgary Hitmen have secured a new home to play their upcoming season.
Due to COVID-19 protocols, the Hitmen will not be playing at the Scotiabank Saddledome but instead at the Seven Chiefs Sportsplex on the TsuuT’ina Nation.
The players will also be staying at the Grey Eagle Resort to help limit contact with other people.
The province approved a shortened 24 game season for all five Alberta WHL teams.
This year’s schedule will get underway on Feb 26, with the Hitmen playing their first game on Mar 5.
