Two semis involved in fatal crash east of Calgary

CALGARY (660 NEWS) – Gleichen RCMP was on the scene of a fatal collision involving two tractor-trailers east of the city on Tuesday night.

According to the release, shortly after 7 p.m., they were dispatched to Highway 901 between Highway 1 and 24.

One of the drivers was pronounced dead upon arrival, while the second driver was treated by EMS.

Traffic is currently being re-routed while the investigation continues.

The victim’s identity has not been released.
