CALGARY (660 NEWS) — Those who may have planned to head to the Southport building in southwest Calgary to get a shot of the AstraZeneca vaccine will now be heading downtown.
Alberta Health Services announced that effective Tuesday, those looking to walk in and get their AstraZeneca shot will now have to go to the Telus Convention Centre.
AHS says the move is to accommodate the number of people expected after the province expanded eligibility to Albertans aged 40 or over.
