Death of man in Coaldale deemed non-criminal, woman’s death still undetermined

COALDALE — RCMP have provided an update on the death of a man and woman in Coaldale, east of Lethbridge, from earlier this week.
While conducting a welfare check at a home in the area, police found a 63-year-old man and a 90-year-old woman dead.
Police initially said that due to the circumstances surrounding their deaths, both were deemed suspicious.

On Thursday, RCMP provided an update following an autopsy.
The man’s death has now been deemed non-criminal, while the manner of death of the woman is still undetermined.
Police say no suspects are being sought, and there is no risk to the public.
