Fire ban lifted in Kananaskis region

CANMORE – Campers heading west of Calgary for their getaways can once again light a campfire.

A fire ban has been lifted for the Kananaskis region.

This comes after heavy rain and cooler temperatures this week.

There are still several bans and restrictions across southern Alberta, including Banff National Park and most of the area surrounding Calgary.
