Sundre, Alberta man charged with first-degree murder

A 27-year-old Alberta man has been charged with first-degree murder in connection with the death of a 19-year-old in Sundre.

Police say they were called to a local business just after midnight on Monday for reports of a homicide.

When they got there, officers found the body of 19-year-old Josh Burns.

Police say they found 27-year-old Solaimane Elbettah nearby, and arrested him without incident.

Elbettah will appear in Canmore Provincial Court on Wednesday morning.
