Two hurt after northeast Calgary crash

A man and a woman were taken to hospital after a crash in northeast Calgary Tuesday morning.

Police say they were called around 7 a.m. when a truck crashed into a car turning from 96 Avenue NE onto Cornerstone Drive NE.

The passenger of the car, a woman, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. The driver of the car, a man, was taken to hospital in stable condition.

The person driving the truck was not hurt in the crash.

Roads in the area are closed as police investigate.
