Critical water quality alert issued for village of Linden

An emergency alert has been issued for the village of Linden, northeast of Calgary.

The drinking water may be unsafe to drink or use due to a critical water main break.

A boil water advisory is now in effect.

Residents are asked not to bring the water to a rapid rolling boil for one minute prior to use, to drink bottled water only and take all necessary precautions, follow the directions of local authorities and seek medical attention if necessary.
