Didsbury RCMP say a high-speed chase on Monday has led to several charges against a 37-year-old Calgary man.
Police say around 12:30 p.m. on March 13, a suspect stole a black 2003 Ford F-350 from the parking lot of the provincial building in Didsbury and then abandoned it in Crossfield.

A driver then picked him up in a white 2017 GMC Sierra truck that officers say was also stolen from Cranbrook, B.C.
The truck was tracked, speeding dangerously through parts of Airdrie during pedestrian and vehicle traffic times.
Officers say it then drove into Calgary and sped dangerously through residential neighbourhoods while “driving down public walking paths.”
The suspect ditched the truck south of the airport and fled on foot, but Calgary police arrested the driver.

Around $35,000 worth of stolen property was located and linked to thefts in Alberta and B.C.
Kyle Vaughan is facing a total of 23 charges, including possession of stolen property and dangerous driving.
Police say the items stolen include electrical wires, a Honda 5000 Generator, geographical imagining equipment, electrical wire, pedal bikes, a 2017 GMC Sierra truck, a 2003 Ford F350 truck, and credit cards and personal identification.
