Lethbridge police looking for suspect after armed robbery of bank

The Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) is looking for a man in connection with an armed robbery at a bank.
Officers say the suspect allegedly entered CIBC on 13 Street N and asked the clerk to hand him cash under the threat of a handgun.
They add the suspect then allegedly took an undisclosed amount of cash and ran away.
No one was injured.
He is described as a heavier set man, approximately five-foot-eight to five-foot-10. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a blue medical mask, black sunglasses, and a dark green hoodie pulled over his head.
LPS is asking anyone who might recognize him to call 403-328-4444 and reference file 23005907, or leave a tip anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
