Alberta’s premier is hoping somebody choo-choo-chooses to buy her railway car restaurant.
Just days after her weekend shift in the kitchen, Danielle Smith and her husband have put their High River restaurant up for sale.
The realtor.ca listing describes it as a “very unique one-of-a-kind restaurant opportunity.” It’s listed at $365,000.
“It’s a beautiful, fully-restored rail car which offers diners an intimate dining experience,” the listing reads. “Comes with a ‘platform’ patio and a fresh herb garden for the creative chef!
“The purchase price includes the rail car and it has a very reasonable land lease with a total term of 20 years. Ideal for a chef or husband and wife team. Menu concept can be changed!”
The Dining Car restaurant – a 1947 restored rail car – is in downtown High River.
Fun fact: my husband and I still own a restaurant. This weekend the dishwasher broke down, so I went in for a shift ???? ????️#biz #abpoli pic.twitter.com/16wkUCtF0M

On Sunday, Smith let her 187,000 Twitter followers know she was a restaurateur.
“Fun fact: my husband and I still own a restaurant,” she tweeted from her personal account. “This weekend the dishwasher broke down, so I went in for a shift.”
The post was accompanied by a photo of Smith in the kitchen, seemingly in the process of washing dishes.
Smith and her husband David Moretta live in High River.
