After a shooting spree with airsoft guns in southeast Calgary Monday, three teens now face 42 weapons charges, according to police.
The Calgary Police Service (CPS) say they received calls at around 12 p.m. about passengers of a Hyundai Sonata firing an “unknown projectile” at bystanders in Auburn Bay and Legacy communities in the city’s southeast.
Afterwards, police found the Hyundai and conducted a “high-risk vehicle stop” at the intersection of 210 Avenue and Walgrove Drive SE, where the teens complied with officer demands to stop.
