Calgary cyclist hit by vehicle, southwest highway clear: RCMP

A cyclist from Calgary has been airlifted to hospital after he was hit by a vehicle, Turner Valley RCMP says.
At around 3 p.m., Highway 22, southwest of the city near Millarville, opened, including Highway 549.
At the time, the corner of Highway 22 and Highway 549 was impassable.

Mounties say the roads would remain closed while an RCMP reconstructionist investigates the scene.
It’s unclear what kind of injuries the man suffered.
Police will provide an update when they become available.
