Calgary’s Blue Line LRT is back up and running normally after equipment issues caused delays for some commuters in the southwest throughout most of Wednesday.

Shuttle buses were running between 69 Street and 45 Street stations since 9:30 p.m. Tuesday evening.

Calgary Transit said mechanical issues were responsible for the problems.

“We’re having some issues with the track equipment at 69 Street Station which is not allowing our trains to enter to the station,” Stephen Tauro with Calgary Transit told CityNews. “So, we’re having to run shuttle buses.”

Regular service resumed around 3:15 p.m. Wednesday, according to Calgary Transit.
