Multi-vehicle crash in NE Calgary leaves 1 person hurt

One person is hurt after a multi-vehicle crash in northeast Calgary on Friday afternoon.

Emergency crews were called to the intersection of Beddington Trail and Beddington Boulevard NE for reports of a crash around 1:45 p.m.

Calgary police say three vehicles were involved and one of them struck a light pole.

Images from the scene show a light pole laying on the ground and a two badly damaged vehicles, a car an pickup truck, in the intersection.

One person was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to CPS.

There is no word on the cause of the crash.
