Man arrested in fatal shooting of young woman at SW Calgary parking garage

A man is in custody following the fatal shooting of a young woman at a southwest Calgary parking garage over the weekend.
Emergency crews were called to a condo building at 8710 Horton Road SW around 4:30 p.m. for reports of gunshots in the garage.
Upon arrival, Calgary police say officers found a woman who had been shot. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have since identified the victim as 23-year-old Madisson Cobb. An autopsy for Cobb is scheduled for Tuesday.
In an update late Monday, police said tips from the public led to officers recovering a white Toyota RAV4 on Sunday that was believed to be connected to the shooting.
On Monday, police arrested a man at the Super 8 motel on Macleod Trail near 75 Avenue SW.
Investigators say the shooting was targeted and they are no longer looking for any suspects.
