Section of Calgary’s Tsuut’ina Trail SW reopens after police incident

A section of southwest Calgary road was closed for several hours Friday due to a police incident.

The closure began around 7:30 a.m. and impacted Tsuut’ina Trail SW, which was shut down between 90 Avenue SW and 130 Avenue SW.

Calgary police said there was no risk to public safety.

Drivers were asked to use an alternative route.

Police reopened the road shortly after 12:30 p.m.
