2 stabbed at downtown Calgary Circle K: police

An investigation is underway after two individuals were stabbed at a Circle K in downtown Calgary on Saturday, police say.

Calls came in from the Sheldon Chumir Health Centre for two people with stab wounds at around 2:15 a.m. Officers say the victims were stabbed behind the Circle K nearby on 11 Avenue and 5 Street SW.

The two victims are in stable condition, and no arrests have been made.

They add that there is no word on motive, and it’s unknown if the victims will be cooperative in the investigation.

Meanwhile, anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Calgary police at 403-266-1234 or leave a tip anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
