Transport truck hit Plus-15 pedway, drove away: Calgary police

Emergency crews were called to an area right beside City Hall in downtown Calgary Thursday night, after a transport truck hit a pedway connected to the Plus-15.
It happened just before 9 p.m. at 1 Street and 9 Avenue SE.
Police say the driver left the scene, but officers were able to catch up to them.
The driver claimed they were unaware of what happened.
There was debris scattered on the road, but that was quickly cleaned up by the fire department.
The area has since reopened to traffic.
