4 people hurt in QEII crash near Carstairs: RCMP

A portion of the northbound lane of the QEII Highway was shut down Sunday as RCMP investigated a collision north of Carstairs.

RCMP Cpl. Gina Slaney says the two-vehicle crash left the four people hurt with undetermined injuries.

Police haven’t ruled out alcohol as a factor in the incident, which happened near Township Road 310 just after 1 a.m.

Traffic in the area was rerouted for several hours.
