Man charged after alleged indecent act in Okotoks public building

Mounties have charged a man after he was allegedly recorded committing an indecent act in a public building in Okotoks last month.

Police began investigating in the afternoon of Feb. 23, after getting reports of a man engaging in a sexual act in a public area.

RCMP say they obtained video footage and identified a suspect based on previous interactions involving similar incidents.

John Quiamboa, 28, of Okotoks, has been charged with committing an indecent act.

He remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in court on Friday.
