Motorcyclist seriously hurt after crash with semi-truck in SE Calgary

A motorcyclist has serious injuries following a crash in a southeast Calgary industrial area on Tuesday. Emergency crews were called to 61 Avenue and 68 Street SE for reports of a collision involving a semi-truck and motorcycle.

A motorcyclist has serious injuries following a crash in a southeast Calgary industrial area on Tuesday afternoon.

Emergency crews were called to 61 Avenue and 68 Street SE around 2:20 p.m. for reports of a collision involving a semi-truck and motorcycle.

The motorcycle rider was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the truck remained at the scene, according to police.

The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
