Motorcylist found dead outside SW Calgary Wentworth home

A motorcyclist is dead after he crashed into a home in the city’s southwest on Sunday, Calgary police said.

It happened overnight in the 100 block of Wentworth Square.

Police believe a man in his 20s, driving a motorcycle, was heading north on Wentworth Square toward the intersection of West Coach Road SW.

When he passed the intersection, officers say he crashed into a home, declaring him dead on the scene.

Officers said later Sunday that the event wasn’t witnessed, and the exact time it happened is unclear.

“At this time, there is no evidence to suggest that another vehicle was involved,” a police release reads.

Meanwhile, investigators say speed, alcohol and drugs are not believed to be factors in the incident.
