Matthew McConaughey spotted at Eau Claire wading pool

A star-studded surprise for one Calgary mom while she was downtown on Wednesday.

She spotted Hollywood heartthrob Matthew McConaughey at the wading pool in Eau Claire.

The Calgary Sun reports McConaughey, who is in town to shoot his new movie “Interstellar,” was with a woman believed to be his wife.

Last weekend, some lucky Calgarians got to party with former “24” star Kiefer Sutherland and actress Demi Moore, who are also in the city shooting a flick.

The two stopped by the Bear and Kilt on Stephen Avenue.
