Airdrie grow-op busted

A major grow operation has been shut down in Airdrie.

On Friday, police executed a search warrant on a home in the Morningside neighbourhood, arresting a 25-year-old man.  In addition to a small amount of ecstacy, they seized almost $350-thousand worth of cannabis plants.

He now faces production charges and will appear in court, October 7th.
