Relief over 14th Street reopening

Along with those who rely on the route to get to work or school, the owners of a number of downtown businesses are relieved after the reopening of 14th Street S.W.
The project closed a portion of the busy road at 10th Avenue for a month and caused a lot of access problems while crews did water water and sewer repairs.
The owner of Heritage Posters and Music, at 15th Street and 11th Ave S.W., tells the Calgary Sun, the work reduced business by about 50 per cent.
The owner of Vacuum Rebuilders of Calgary is also relieved with the reopening, saying his business dropped by about 40 per cent.
