Lancaster Night Run at the Bomber Command Museum Canada
The Bomber Command Museum of Canada is pleased to present the Lancaster Night Run 2021!
The Museum will be hosting this event with the Harley Davidson – Rally in the Rockies crew. Harley Davidson will be having a special evening ride out to the museum and then hosting a night run with the Lancaster Bomber Engine and the Bristol Hercules engine.
Host of the Lancaster Night Run, Fox says “The night run gives you a feeling of what it was really like when the Lancaster’s were starting up to go on a night missions over Germany. They would be all bombed up and fueled up and 700 to 800 bombers would be circling England until they were all ready to head out to the targets. It would run chills down your back. People have told me you would feel the rumble in your chest, there were so many in the air. We are just trying to recreate a little of that feeling for the audience.”
