Calgary police arrested three young people after they graffiti-tagged a couple of buildings right in front of officers.
On Thursday night, police noticed some people riding their bikes in the Oakridge Co-Op parking lot and the plain clothes police officers then watched as the three took out the spray cans and proceeded to spray words and phrases on two different buildings in 60 centimetre high letters.
All three were arrested at the scene with the help of the HAWK helicopter and have been charged with mischief under $5,000.
Two suspects are under the age of eighteen and cannot be named while the third is 18-year-old Jonathan William Akin.
They have been released on strict conditions and are scheduled to appear in court on July 21, 2010.
