A provincial court has fined a southwest Calgary Chinese restaurant after four years of recorded violations.
Long Po Wong had been warned to clean up his kitchen at the Tasty World Restaurant, or pay the consequences.
However, the Calgary Sun reports, the eatery continued to break health violations ranging from contamination of food to the cleanliness of equipment, utensils and employees’ hands.
Some inspections were done as a result of suspected food-borne illnesses involving patrons.
Wong has now been fined more than $17-thousand dollars.
