A reminder to recycle

Now that Christmas is over, some people are already taking down their lights, decorations and trees, and we are also being reminded to recylce our Xmas trees.
If you receive residential garbage collection your tree will be picked up, and chipped into mulch for use in green spaces around Calgary.
The pick up service ends on Saturday, January 8th.
You should place the tree near the garbage pick-up area by 7 a.m on January 8th.
You can also drop off your trees at one of eight temporary depots, which will be open from December 27th to January 18th:
